Davide Vigore absolvierte seine Ausbildung am Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Regie) und war anschließend als Assistent für Paolo Sorrentino und Pietro Marcello tätig. Seine Kurzfilme und Dokumentationen wurden bei verschiedenen Festivals ausgewählt, darunter Venedig, Cannes, Bellaria und Taormina.
Davide Vigore completed his training at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (director) and then worked as an assistant to Paolo Sorrentino and Pietro Marcello. His short films and documentaries have been selected for various festivals, including Venice, Cannes, Bellaria, and Taormina.
Davide Vigore ha completato la sua formazione al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (regia) e ha poi lavorato come assistente di Paolo Sorrentino e Pietro Marcello. I suoi cortometraggi e documentari sono stati selezionati in diversi festival, tra cui Venezia, Cannes, Bellaria e Taormina.

Nella mia zona ist ein intimer Einblick in das Leben zweier junger Menschen in einem Vorort
Siziliens.
Auf der einen Seite Simone, ein Trap-Sänger, der in seinem kleinen
Dorf festsitzt und unfähig ist, über seine Welt hinauszublicken;
auf der anderen Seite Israel, ein nigerianischer Friseur,
der den unmöglichen Traum hegt, Profiboxer zu werden.
Ein Leben, das langsam und unveränderlich verläuft, schwebend zwischen Zukunftsträumen und den Mühen der Gegenwart.
Ein zutiefst intimes Porträt zweier junger Menschen in einem sizilianischen Vorort, die zwischen Traum und Wirklichkeit schweben.

In My Block offers a delicate, intimate look at the lives of two young men in a Sicilian
periphery.
On one side, Simone - a trap music singer, confined within his small town, unable to
envision a life beyond it.
On the other, Israel - a Nigerian barber who nurtures the seemingly impossible
dream of becoming a professional boxer.
Their lives flow slowly, almost immutably, caught between the fatigue of the present
and the hopes of a different future.
A deeply intimate portrait of two young lives in a Sicilian suburb, suspended between dreams and reality.

Nella mia zona" è uno sguardo intimo sull'esistenza di due giovani nella periferia
siciliana. Da una parte Simone, cantante di musica trap confinato nel suo piccolo
paese ed incapace di proiettarsi oltre il suo mondo; dall'altra Israel, barbiere
nigeriano, che coltiva il sogno impossibile di diventare pugile professionista. Una vita
che scorre lenta e immutabile, sospesa tra sogni di futuro e la fatica del presente.
Uno sguardo intimo sull´esistenza di due giovani nella periferia siciliana, sospesa tra sogni e realtà.

Fuorigioco erzählt die Geschichte von Maurizio Schillaci, Cousin des berühmteren Totò, Held von Italia '90. Maurizio war ebenfalls Fußballspieler und, wie Zeman immer gesagt hat, ein sehr talentierter dazu. Er spielte für Lazio, hatte einen Millionenvertrag, Ruhm, Erfolg, Frauen, Autos (er besaß 38 davon). Aber eine Verletzung des Kahnbeins zwang ihn, den Fußballplatz zu verlassen, und dank Depressionen, Alkohol und Drogen versank er in einem Strudel der Exzesse. Heute ist er 58 Jahre alt und lebt in einem verlassenen Eisenbahnwaggon in der Via Oreto in Palermo, bekannt als „der Zugfriedhof”. Er lebt nachts in diesem dunklen und düsteren Teil von Palermo, zwischen dem Bahnhof und den Partys auf der Piazza Garraffello in Vuccirìa. Er wandert durch seine Erinnerungen. Was kommt nach dem Erfolg? Völlige Einsamkeit inmitten einer Menschenmenge.

Fuorigioco tells the story of Maurizio Schillaci, cousin of the more famous Totò, hero of Italia '90. Maurizio was also a soccer player, and a very talented one at that, as Zeman has always said. He played for Lazio, had a million-dollar contract, fame, success, women, cars (he had 38 of them). But a scaphoid injury forced him to leave the soccer field and, thanks to depression, alcohol, and drugs, he sank into a vortex of excess. Today he is 58 years old and lives in an abandoned train carriage in Via Oreto, Palermo, known as ‘the train cemetery’. He lives at night in this dark and gloomy part of Palermo, between the station and the parties in Piazza Garraffello in Vuccirìa. He wanders through his memories. What comes after success? Total loneliness in the midst of a crowd.

Fuorigioco racconta la storia di Maurizio Schillaci, cugino del più famoso Totò, eroe di Italia '90. Maurizio era anche lui un calciatore, anzi era un grande talento, come ha sempre dichiarato Zeman. Giocava nella Lazio, aveva un contratto milionario, fama, successo, donne, auto (ne aveva ben 38). Ma un infortunio allo scafoide lo costringe ad allontanarsi dai campi di calcio e, complici la depressione, l'alcol e la droga, sprofonda nel vortice dell'eccesso. Oggi ha 58 anni e vive nel vagone di un treno abbandonato in via Oreto, a Palermo, lo chiamano "il cimitero dei treni". Vive di notte in questa Palermo dark e oscura, tra la stazione e le feste in Piazza Garraffello in Vuccirìa. Vaga tra i suoi ricordi. Cosa c'è dopo il successo? La totale solitudine immersa nella folla.
