Dieser Film erzählt von einer Reise ins Glück. Die furiose Roma-Blaskapelle „Fanfare Ciocârlia“ („Die Lerchenbläser“) aus dem entlegenen rumänischen Dorf Zece Prăjini („Zehn Acker“) zieht durch die Welt, füllt die Säle und erobert das Publikum. Die Band wurde von zwei deutschen Enthusiasten entdeckt und auf die internationalen Weltmusikbühnen geführt. Bald schon mit Kultstatus, feiern die Musiker mit ihrer Mischung aus rasantem Spiel und balkanischer Poesie bei jedem Auftritt ein rauschendes Fest – von Berlin bis Tokio. Der Film führt zu den Ursprüngen einer vitalen Musikkultur der rumänischen Roma und begleitet die Musiker bei ihrem Aufbruch in die Welt. 

This film tells the story of a journey to happiness. The vibrant Roma brass band "Fanfare Ciocârlia" ("The Lark Blowers") from the remote Romanian village of Zece Prăjini ("Ten Acre") travels the world, filling halls and captivating audiences. The band was discovered by two German enthusiasts and led from their humble beginnings to the international world music stage. Soon achieving cult status, the musicians, with their blend of fast-paced playing and Balkan poetry, celebrate every performance with ecstatic acclaim – from Berlin to Tokyo. The film explores the origins of a vibrant musical culture among the Romanian Roma and accompanies the musicians as they set out into the world.

Acest film povestește despre o călătorie către fericire. Fanfare Ciocârlia o  furioasă formatie  din satul Zece Prăjini din spatele Munților Carpați străbate lumea, umplând săli și cucerind publicul. Trupa a fost descoperită de doi entuziaști germani și condusa de la începuturile lor umile pe scena internațională a muzicii mondiale. Atingând în curând statutul de cult, muzicienii sărbătoresc o petrecere fastuoasă cu amestecul lor de cântare în ritm rapid și poezie balcanică la fiecare spectacol - de la Berlin la Tokyo. Filmul explorează originile unei culturi muzicale vibrante în rândul romilor români și îi însoțește pe muzicieni în călătoria lor în lume.
