Declaration of love to a landscape: The director accompanies her 84-year-old father with her camera on his forays through a majestic valley in the Norwegian mountains, where her family has lived for generations. The father reports on devastating natural disasters, shows a tree that his great-grandfather once planted and which now towers high above the valley, and ponders existential questions of life.
