As Laal wins the hearts of the people he meets along the way, he reminds us that everyone has their own unique story within them and is worthy of being heard.

It has taken many years to transplant the global success of Forrest Gump to India and retell the story for an Indian audience. Lead actor Aamir Khan, whose fellow actor Atul Kulkarni (Rang De Basanti) wrote the script, even produced the film himself.

The result is a loving homage to the original and a creative translation into a different context with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Naga Chaitanya.
