The film takes up one of the most significant events in the history of the Albanian people, the proclamation of national independence. The most outstanding personalities of the nation, headed by the great patriot Ismail Qemali, after many obstacles succeeded in hoisting the national flag and proclaiming the independence of Albania in Vlora on November 28 1912.
