“Some of my favorite comedians are Black, Indigenous, people of color and trans people because we know that humor is not about levity.

n a world that’s committed to making your life miserable, there’s something audacious and beautiful about insisting on maintaining your humor and your delight.”

ALOK written their new poetry collection Your Wound/My Garden (2021) during COVID 19 lockdown. It's an argument for beauty in the face of grief, loss, and chronic pain. Their new poetry collection will be released in October in Germany. And now Mx. Vaid-Menon will bring their love, pain and comedy for four live performances to Germany
