Después de mil días de guerra civil en Colombia en 1902, el soldado revolucionario Alfredo Duarte Amado recibe un telegrama con la noticia del embarazo de la esposa de su hermano. Sabiendo que la guerra ya ha terminado, convence a un fotógrafo, Benito Pardo, para que lo acompañe en la búsqueda de su hermano, pero el fotógrafo también persigue al hombre que mató a su padre. Un viaje a través de paisajes marcados por la guerra, donde se entrelazan la lealtad, la venganza y los últimos ecos de la revolución.

After a thousand days of civil war in Colombia in 1902, revolutionary soldier Alfredo Duarte Amado receives a telegram with the news that his brothers wife is pregnant. Knowing the war has ended, he convinces a photographer, Benito Pardo, to accompany him in search of his brother but the photographer is also pursuing the man who killed his father.
