EN: The English poets Mary Shelley (Lizzy McInnerny) and Lord Byron (Hugh Grant) are forced to flee England. During their journey, Mary recalls meeting the young, passionate poet Percy Shelley (Valentine Pelka) at the home of her adoptive father, falling in love with him and eloping together. She also remembers an encounter with Byron in Switzerland. Above all, she looks back on a night in November 1816 when, as her friends were telling ghost stories, she brought the legendary monster Frankenstein to life.
