Shot in one day, without script, crew or money. We only had a camera, three cans of black and white negative, an old car, Wim Wenders for half an hour and very little sleep.

Lúcia Nagib, Fellow of the British Academy, is Professor of Film at the University of Reading. She is an internationally recognised specialist in world cinema, cinematic realism and cinematic intermediality, which she has explored in many publications, including her single-authored books, Realist Cinema as World Cinema: Non-cinema, Intermedial Passages, Total Cinema (2020) and World Cinema and the Ethics of Realism (2011).
